This Disclaimer is part of the PinDrift Terms of Service and is incorporated by reference. It collects, in one place, the honest list of risks, limitations, and third-party-app consequences you should understand before you install or buy PinDrift. The provisions below apply in addition to (not instead of) the warranty disclaimers and limitations of liability in the Terms.

Short version:
  • PinDrift simulates GPS location. It does not change reality, and it does not guarantee any particular outcome in any particular app.
  • Apps that detect GPS simulation can suspend, ban, or otherwise restrict your account. That risk is on you.
  • PinDrift is not affiliated with Apple, Google, Niantic, or any third party referenced on this site.
  • iOS and Android updates can break PinDrift on short notice. We ship fixes quickly, but we don’t warrant that any specific version of iOS, Android, or any third-party app will work with PinDrift at any point in time.

1. AS-IS, AS-AVAILABLE

PinDrift is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without warranty of any kind, express, implied, or statutory, including the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, uninterrupted availability, or compatibility with any third-party hardware, operating system, or application. Your use of PinDrift is entirely at your own risk.

2. No promise of third-party compatibility

Many third-party apps and online services detect, restrict, or prohibit GPS simulation. PinDrift makes no representation, warranty, or promise that any specific app or service will accept, fail to detect, or refrain from acting on the simulated location it receives from your device. Examples of services that have been observed to detect or react to GPS simulation include, without limitation:

  • Games: Pokémon Go (Niantic), Wizards Unite, Ingress, Monster Hunter Now, and similar location-based games.
  • Dating apps: Tinder, Bumble, Hinge, Wink, Grindr, and similar location-matching services.
  • Ride-share and delivery apps: Uber, Uber Eats, Lyft, DoorDash, Instacart, and similar gig-economy services, which may also have contractual terms prohibiting GPS spoofing for drivers.
  • Banking and financial apps: apps that perform location-based fraud checks may block transactions or trigger account-security holds.
  • Social media: Snapchat (Snap Map), Instagram, BeReal, and similar apps with location features.
  • Family-tracking apps: Life360, Find My, Google Family Link, Apple Family Sharing.
  • Carrier or employer tools: mobile-device-management (MDM) profiles, employer fleet-tracking, and time-and-attendance systems.

Consequences for using PinDrift with these or any other third-party services may include, without limitation: account suspension, permanent ban, forfeiture of in-app purchases or in-game progress, removal of earned rewards, denied transactions, loss of access to subscription content, breach-of-contract claims by the third party, or other consequences PinDrift cannot foresee. You assume all such risk. PinDrift will not refund, replace, restore, or compensate you for any third-party action against your account.

3. No affiliation with third parties

PinDrift is an independent product. PinDrift is not developed by, affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or otherwise associated with Apple Inc., Google LLC, Niantic Inc., Match Group, Snap Inc., Meta Platforms Inc., Bumble Inc., Life360 Inc., Uber Technologies Inc., or any other company, application, or service referenced anywhere on this site. iOS, iPhone, iPad, Apple, Mac, Android, Pixel, Pokémon Go, Tinder, Bumble, Hinge, Snapchat, Life360, and all other third-party trademarks appearing on this site are the property of their respective owners and are used here only for descriptive identification of the platforms or services PinDrift is compatible with, consistent with nominative fair use.

4. Compatibility may change

Apple, Google, and third-party app vendors update their software regularly. Those updates may, without notice:

  • Change the developer-mode plumbing PinDrift depends on, breaking compatibility for a period of time.
  • Introduce new detection or anti-spoofing measures that cause previously-working apps to detect, restrict, or ban accounts using simulated location.
  • Change OS-level APIs, drivers, or trust-handshake flows in a way that affects connection reliability.
  • Discontinue features (such as iOS Developer Mode, USB pairing, or Wi-Fi pairing) that PinDrift uses.

We monitor for these changes and ship updates as quickly as we can, but we do not warrant that any specific version of iOS, Android, any specific Apple device, or any third-party application will work with PinDrift at any point in time. Our published compatibility matrices represent our best information at the date of publication; they are not contractual commitments.

5. Your use, your responsibility

You are solely responsible for how, where, and with what apps you use PinDrift. PinDrift is a general-purpose location-simulation tool. The legality, ethics, and contractual compliance of any specific use are your responsibility, not ours. Without limiting the foregoing, you are responsible for:

  • Reading and following each third-party service’s terms of use. Many services prohibit GPS simulation. If you use PinDrift with one of those services, you may be in breach of that service’s terms; PinDrift is not a party to those terms.
  • Complying with all applicable laws. Insurance fraud, evasion of court-ordered location monitoring, harassment, stalking, immigration violations, sanctions evasion, and similar uses are illegal regardless of the tool. See our Acceptable Use Policy.
  • Knowing the rules of your workplace, school, or organization. Employer monitoring, time-and-attendance systems, and managed-device policies may forbid GPS simulation; using PinDrift to defeat them may breach your employment or enrollment agreement.
  • Adult age. PinDrift is offered exclusively to users 18 years of age or older. See Terms § 1.

6. No specific outcomes guaranteed

Nothing on this site, in our marketing copy, in product documentation, in support correspondence, or in any third-party review constitutes a guarantee of any specific outcome with any specific app. Examples of outcomes we do not guarantee include:

  • That a specific app will display the spoofed location.
  • That a specific app will not detect, restrict, or ban the account using simulated location.
  • That gameplay rewards, purchases, or progress in any specific game will be preserved.
  • That family-tracking apps will display the spoofed location to family members or moderators.
  • That dating apps will show or hide you to or from specific users in specific cities.
  • That ride-share or delivery apps will route trips or orders based on the simulated location.
  • That carrier-locked, enterprise-managed, or MDM-managed devices will accept the simulated location.

7. Software defects, outages, and discontinuation

PinDrift is software. Software has defects. We make no promise that PinDrift will be free of bugs, security issues, or operational interruptions. We may, at any time and without notice, change, restrict, suspend, or permanently discontinue any feature of PinDrift, the website, or the license server, including in ways that affect existing installations. Where such changes render your License materially unusable, the operational-discontinuation refund described in the Terms applies; outside that case, we have no obligation to compensate you for the loss of a feature, the introduction of a bug, or a service outage.

8. Test with throwaway accounts

If you care about a specific account on a specific app, do not test PinDrift with it. The safest workflow is to create a new, separate account on the target app, link it to a new email and (where applicable) a new phone number, and test PinDrift there first. We are not responsible for actions taken by third-party apps against your real accounts.

9. Marketing copy is descriptive, not contractual

Phrases on PinDrift’s marketing pages, hero headlines, and the cycling H1 (including but not limited to phrases like “hide from Find My,” “slip past Life360,” “outrun Strava,” and similar) describe the general capability of GPS simulation. They do not represent a contractual commitment that any specific named service will be successfully defeated, evaded, or hidden from. The contractually binding statements about what PinDrift does are limited to the Terms of Service, the Privacy Policy, the Acceptable Use Policy, and this Disclaimer.

10. Updates to this Disclaimer

We may update this Disclaimer from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the Software at next launch and via the email address associated with your License at least fourteen (14) days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Software after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
